Preparing For Your Training

Please note all NSW trainings are now held at Rydges Central Sydney, all Qld trainings are now held at the Ibis Brisbane and all WA trainings are now held at Mercure Perth (details below).

Your Training Schedule:

  • Training Times: Vary depending on the training. Check your confirmation email and text message for correct times.
  • Registration: commences half an hour prior to training on day one.
  • There will usually be water, tea and coffee provided – You will need to supply your own lunch and snacks.

Public Transport:
The 705 Bus from Mordialloc Train Station to Springvale Train Station stops right outside the Business Centre on Garden Blvd.

The Perth underground is located 850 metres or approx 10 minute walk away. Alternatively, The Mercure Hotel is on the path for the FREE shuttle bus service in Perth CBD.
Parking:
Lots of FREE Parking is available at back of TLCC HQ building on Elm Tree Drive. The entrance to the College is through the glass doors under the Business Centre sign. If you find the lake you can see the Business Centre sign! Just walk up the stairs and you will see our reception area behind you.

Public parking is available at the venue for $44 per day or $11 per hour. To access, enter via Albion St and enter the car park at the hotel entrance. Alternatively, there are other public car parks in the area. We recommend downloading the Parkopedia Parking app to find the most suitable option for you.

Public Car parking is available under The Mecure Hotel (next to The Ibis) through CarePark. Daily rates are $36 per car for our events. However, to receive this rate, you will need to validate your parking ticket at The Ibis Reception. Alternatively, various public car parks are available in the area. Food Options:
Small onsite kitchens are available with fridge and microwave facilities. An onsite cafe is open Mon-Fri with sandwiches and some hot food.
Food Options:
Onsite cafe Sydney Brewery Bar. No pre-booking is required. Open hours: Mon-Sat 11am-Midnight, Sun 4pm-10pm. Other cafes are close by. There is a 7-Eleven down the hill on the corner for sandwiches and snack food.
Food Options:
Onsite cafe at The Ibis is open for breakfast only on Mon – Fri 6.30am – 9.30am and Sat 6.30am – 10.30am. There are various cafes and coffee shops close by. A large Food cour - '400 Food' is very close and is open Mon-Fri 7am-3pm. The Bagel Boys are open Sat 7.30am-2pm and there is a 7-11 on the corner of George St.
Food Options:
Onsite restaurant Cucina Café is open Mon – Fri 6.30am – 3pm and Sat – Sun 8am – 1pm.

What To Bring:

  • Jumpers – The training room is set to 19 degrees!
  • Comfortable clothes
  • Any special pens or notepads you like to use – There will be lots of note taking!
  • Any special snacks that meet your own dietary requirements
  • A willingness to learn
  • A willingness to stretch yourself
  • A willingness to be more curious than you have ever been!
  • A smile
  • A readiness to assist those around you as they embark on this part of their training
  • A willingness to play at 100%

Accommodation:

We suggest you compare the training venues' website with other discount accommodation websites. We've found that sometimes the venues sites are cheaper and sometimes the other sites. It's best to do your own checking so you are not disappointed.

In Victoria we highly suggest staying at the Dingley International Hotel as it is just 200 metres from the Training centre. Click here for details
